It’s time that adults had that chance.
Stagebridge offers you the opportunity to laugh, learn and create at:
Performing Arts Camp for Adults 50+
July 18-22, 2011
9:30-3:30 daily
This year’s Stagebridge Performing Arts Camp theme is Bright Lights, Big City! Campers will get to take two classes in the morning and two classes in the afternoon with some of the finest artists in the country. In the morning, campers will select one acting and one storytelling class and in the afternoon, choose any two classes. There will be:
- Special lectures, discussions, films and workshops at the end of each day.
- All campers will participate in the BIG SHOW on Friday afternoon which will be videotaped.
- New this year – Easy to Do Card Tricks, Playback Theatre, Tap Dance and fun surprises.
- Returning by popular demand – “Summer Stock” where campers choose to concentrate on a musical in singing and dancing classes in the afternoon. The “company” will present selections from Chicago at Friday’s show.
We are also pleased to offer “Expanding Creativity in the Workplace” which includes special workshops for health care professionals and activity directors of senior facilities. This mix of classes and special workshops will give you the tools to apply creative activities to your work. A fun way to earn Continuing Education Credits/Units through California State University, East Bay and play at the same time.
