Busting the Bullies
Written and Directed by Linda Spector.

Through drama, poems, stories and songs, “Busting the Bullies” asks these questions: What is bullying? How do people feel when they are bullied? What does it mean to say someone is “different”? What are the ways in which we are all the same? How can adults and students work together to make school a safe place for everyone?

During the assembly, students are encouraged to express their own ideas about these questions. The actors hope classes will discuss the questions ahead of time and come to the assembly ready to share the best ideas they have come up with as a class.

If your school already has a bullying prevention program in place, this is the students’ chance to receive recognition for their part in it. Encourage them to share classroom and school insights and techniques with the Stagebridge seniors who perform in Busting the Bullies.
