Enter our Grandparent Tales Writing Contest
Exciting prizes! Certificates!

Everyone knows that grandparents have lived a long time and have some pretty interesting stories to tell. Write down one of their stories, or ask someone to write it down for you. If you want, draw a picture to illustrate the story. Then send in your story and/or illustration to our Grandparent Tales Writing Contest. You just might win! If you are a contest winner, you will receive prizes from our community and corporate sponsors.
This is my family!
I love my grandparents! Explore Your Own Family History
Maybe your story is about how you feel about your grandparents. Perhaps they died before you were born or when you very young. What stories have you heard about your grandparents or great-grandparents?
Ask your parents about your grandparents. If your grandparents speak another language, your parents can translate their stories for you. Writing about your grandparents to enter our contest can be a family affair. If you know people who are your grandparents’ age, you can write about them. You will probably hear some very fascinating stories. Their stories may be real life stories, made up, or even a story they heard when they were children.

The next deadline for submittal will be in March 31, 2008.
