COVID-19 Protocols and Guidelines

updated 04.2022

Working to return to in-person classes and events, Stagebridge offers these guidelines for students, instructors and staff to slow the spread of COVID-19 and all subsequent variants.

To ensure the safety of our community, students are required to adhere to the following:

  • All students meeting in-person must be fully-vaccinated against COVID-19, including booster shots.  If not fully-vaccinated, then students must be able to provide negative test results weekly available when entering classes.

  • Government issued verification of fully vaccinated status or pre-entry negative test result (within 24 hrs before each class) is required for all attendees. Students must provide:

    • COVID-19 Vaccination Record (any one of the following):

      • COVID-19 Vaccination Record Card

      • Photo or copy of a COVID-19 Vaccination Record Card as a separate document

      • Documentation of COVID-19 vaccination from a health care provider

      • Digital record of COVID-19 vaccination

  • In accordance with the City of Oakland, Alameda County and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Students are strongly recommended to wear masks, but are not required to while indoors. Should local health conditions change, masking requirements and other health precautions may be reimposed.

  • Students are encouraged to arrive on time (as early as 15 minutes prior to the class meeting start time, but no earlier). Late entrances will not be permitted.

  • Students showing COVID-19 symptoms must stay home. This is critical to the health and safety of our staff, your fellow students and our community at large. Students or community members who are feeling unwell should not join an in-person session.

  • Students or community members who test positive for COVID-19 or begin showing symptoms of COVID-19 after attending a class session must inform Stagebridge staff immediately.

  • Any student or community member who has been in contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19 within 14 days prior to an in-person meeting session will not be allowed entrance.

  • All students meeting in-person will practice diligent hand-washing and sanitizing. In the event that hand-washing is not immediately available, hand sanitizer will be provided throughout classrooms and offices.

  • Eating or sharing food within the building or classrooms is not allowed.

  • Students and community members should avoid shared objects such as supplies, utensils or props.

  • All students are encouraged to limit meetings or discussions outside of class time.

  • Any students or community members meeting for official classes outside of FCCO must follow any additional guidelines of those respective spaces or locations.

To ensure the safety of our community, staff and instructors will adhere to the following:

  • All staff and instructors meeting in-person will be fully-vaccinated against COVID-19, including booster shots. If not fully-vaccinated, then staff and instructors must provide negative test results weekly.

  • All staff and instructors meeting in-person will practice diligent hand-washing and sanitizing.

  • All staff and instructors will enforce proper mask etiquette and COVID safety guidelines for students.

  • Any staff member or instructor who has been in contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19 within 14 days prior to an in-person class meeting will not be allowed on-site.

  • Staff will check vaccination cards and IDs for all students and instructors at the entrance door 15 minutes prior to the first scheduled in-person meeting for any given group.

  • Staff will provide hand sanitizer around high-touch areas, near entrances to classrooms and offices.

  • Staff will provide air purifiers to ventilate classrooms. Air purifiers must be running during class meetings. Students are not permitted to adjust settings. If weather permits, staff and instructors will air out spaces with open windows instead.

  • Staff will sanitize classrooms before and after class meetings.
