I may be one of Stagebride’s newer staff members, but I’ve been diligently working and supporting students for the past year.

When I first joined Stagebridge in 2021, I thought that my background as a performer and my experience as an IT specialist would be my most illuminating assets. As time went on, I realized my keen eye for improving systems has benefited the company far more than expected.

Whether it’s working with students on their technological needs inside of class meetings or ensuring that payments are received  on time, I am most interested in the backbone of Stagebridge.

As we are moving forward with the return of our classes and programs in Fall 2022, I’m energized to see Stagebridge move into a fully hybrid model. This means students will see classes and programs that are:

  1. fully in-person, with new locations outside of the First Congregational Church.

  2. fully online, with the support of technical personnel.

  3. a mix of online and in-person meetings.

This will not only expand our offerings, but the amount of people who can access our incredible opportunities. While I’m completely inspired to see this vision come to fruition, I also understand that this requires new and improved operational systems.

In this case, I’m working with our team to build easier registration and invoice processes and streamline technical assistance and training for new students. We are also in the process of transitioning to a database-system that will help us better catalog and track all of our classes and programs.

For me, the future of Stagebridge relies on crafting clean and clear operational systems. If we can improve the backbone of our programs, our staff can be supported and inspire our students even more.

If you’re behind this mission, donate to Stagebridge now. And if you can’t donate, talk to our team members to support in different and incredibly valuable ways! Support is not always monetary (although that can certainly help). Support also looks like showing up and creating community––one day at a time.

What I want to give Stagebridge is a stable future, based on a reliable and efficient support team. I think this dream is absolutely feasible. What about you?
