Wayne Harris' DRAPETOMANIA

Extended until November 22

In 2012, Wayne Harris was invited by the U.S. State Department to travel to Palestine to do Storytelling workshops and perform a piece about Martin Luther King. Feeling at times a tool of the Government, spreading a story of peace to oppressed people, he falls into an unexpected journey…and maybe the joke's on Uncle Sam.

"Sunday in the Park with George"

Featuring Stagebridge's Own Matthew Standley

Take a stroll through art, music, and imagination in Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine’s Pulitzer Prize–winning masterpiece, Sunday in the Park with George, now on stage at Shotgun Players in Berkeley. Inspired by Georges Seurat’s pointillist painting A Sunday Afternoon on the Island of La Grande Jatte, this luminous musical explores what it means to create, to connect, and to keep seeing the world in color.

We’re especially proud that this production features Stagebridge’s own Matthew Standley, bringing his signature heart, humor, and vocal brilliance to the stage. Matthew embodies the spirit of continual learning and artistic growth that defines our community—proving that the creative journey is never finished, just evolving.

Whether you’re a Sondheim devotee or discovering the show for the first time, Sunday in the Park with George offers a rich, emotional tapestry about the tension between art and life, solitude and connection.
